LSTA Mobile Edge Grant 2019 Overview

Guilford College’s Hege Library and Learning Technologies was awarded a Library Services and Technology (LSTA) grant in the amount of $48,158.00 to advance The Mobile Edge, an initiative reimagining and expanding digital media services for enhanced mobility. This will support new academic priorities of the Guilford Edge designed to increase student participation in study away and abroad experiences and community engagement. It will be vital for the new academic calendar featuring redesigned experiential curricula, and Guilford’s new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP): Speak UP: Unifying Presentation for an Inclusive, Connected World; both stressing collaborative engaged learning, discovery, and critical creation by all students outside of the classroom.
