In light of the situation with COVID-19, the library is working with faculty to provide devices to students in need to be able to complete their coursework remotely for an extended period of time. Requests for individual students in need will be considered through faculty submission via request form. Note that it will not be possible for students to make direct requests for loans of computing devices. Please contact your instructor directly if you have not already heard from them.
If your coursework requires access to Adobe Creative Cloud, please know that students will be able to download it for free on their personal laptops. Device requests will only be considered for students who do not have a device or if their device is unable to perform this download.
Students will be required to fill out a borrowing contract via Google Form and will be responsible for any damages to the device or charger.
Devices will be checked out and shipped to students via FedEx insured. Students will be responsible for returning the devices and charger on time to the library by the specified due date and are responsible for all return shipping costs. Students who are local and wish to do curbside pick-up and return may do so by scheduling an appointment with Access & Information Services Librarian, Liz Wade.
