Hege Library Vital Statistics: User Service Areas

Personnel limitations and new library goals led to a dramatic change in how the library provides research assistance to the Guilford College community.

Hege Library now provides its main general and academic support in two areas of the library:

 At the main entrance information desk in the Access & Information Services department, and through in-depth consultation with librarians in the Research & Instructional Services department on the main floor.

 All student, faculty, staff, and public library user inquiries are recorded using a service statistics recording system called Gimlet http://gimlet.us/
