This guide was created to support dialog for the re-envisioning of the Guilford campus learning environment. As the Hege Library reimagines the potential of its space as an academic commons, the impact that this might have on the support of teaching and learning campus-wide is a central consideration. The strategies employed for the redesign of learning spaces within the Hege Library have the potential to catalyze a strategic approach to learning space desgn for the College.
The resources included in this guide are being assembled as the Library engages in strategic planning, and will be further developed over time. The guide's development will be a dynamic process, with new information being added as it is discovered. Suggestions for adding to and improving the guide are most welcomed!
