The concept of "instructional design" can be an intimidating one, though it doesn't have to be. Every time you decide that a reading reflection would be a good lead-in to a particular in-class discussion, rearrange items on a Canvas course page for greater clarity, or revise a course module that didn't work as anticipated, you are engaging in instructional design.
