Quakers and the Anti-War Movement during the Vietnam War (1963-1975)

This source provides a viewpoint of some who fought and served in the U.S. military during the Vietnam War. Many people would assume that if one were in the U.S. military during the Vietnam War, they were for the war and supported it. However, there were a massive number of personnel from all branches of the U.S. military who were against the war and became involved in the anti-war movement. Also, many young American men who would have fought in Vietnam, ended up serving non-combatant roles in the military or performing alternative service in the United States.
