RAIL APPROACH

The RAIL initiative employs a two-pronged approach to addressing barriers to learning, for ensuring that all students are equally enabled to achieve academic success. While the cost of required course materials is one of the primary barriers, a variety of physical and cognitive factors, personal learning styles and preferences, and the circumstances of our students’ lives that challenge their ability to balance personal and academic demands, all enter into the mix. The success of the program will be supported taking the following approaches:
