Use the curated selection of databases below to find academic articles for your research. Remember that searching databases is different than searching Google.   • SocINDEX with Full Text: This database provides the world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research.
  • Humanities International Complete: Humanities International Complete is a comprehensive database of humanities content.
  • JSTOR: JSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources. Use the Help link to find tutorials for using this database.
  • Academic Search Premier: Over 8,200 publications are available in this multi-discipline database, with full text for nearly 4,650 of those titles.
  • ProQuest Sociology: Sociological and social work research including culture and social structure, history and theory of sociology, social psychology, substance abuse and addiction, and more.
  • Project Muse: Project Muse provides online access to the full-text of over 200 scholarly journals in arts and humanities, social sciences and mathematics.
  • Proquest Political Science: Political science and international relations journals, dissertations and working papers on topics such as comparative politics, political economy, international development, and environmental policy.

Newspaper databases

  • Newspaper Source Plus: Newspaper Source Plus includes more than 700 full-text newspapers, providing nearly than 31 million full-text articles. In addition, the database features more than 677,000 television and radio news transcripts.
  • US Newsstream: News content from many national and international newspapers, newswires and selected news magazines.
