Research, tutoring, and writing support

Students in need of basic research support should consult Hege Library's research guides page, for guides designed for specific subjects and courses, along with other valuable resources. They can also access our Student Support page, where among other things they will find links to research tutorials, citation guides, and the "How Do I..." Guide, which provides guidance on a wide array of aspects related to conducting research and accessing library resources.

Students in need of advanced research support can make an appointment for a consultation with Gwen Erickson, Quaker Librarian & College Archivist, or William Kelly, Digital Pedagogy and Scholarship Librarian.

If you need help with Canvas, a digital project, or any other instructional technology:

  • Students in need of basic tech support should consult library guides, Hoonuit, or contact the Help Desk via the website or email.
  • Students in need of individualized support with campus learning technologies such as Canvas, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and Zoom can drop by STARS Learning Tech Support virtual drop-in hours at select times (including some evening hours) Monday through Thursday, every week. See this site for hours and Zoom meeting links.

If you need help with writing, contact the Learning and Writing Center: Appointments for tutoring and writing support.
