This guide shows you how to use Zoom, with a focus on Zoom for classroom use by instructors.

Getting Set Up

Once you have created and set up your Zoom account at https://guilford.zoom.us, you will want to install the Zoom application on your computer and/or your mobile device. Instructions for both are below.

Once you have downloaded your app, log in with your Guilford Zoom account. To do so, follow these instructions:

  1. Click the "Sign in with SSO" button or option (you need to do this before logging in with your Guilford Google account).
  2. In the institutional domain box that pops up, input "guilford" (so that the domain reads "guilford.zoom.us").
  3. Log in with your Guilford Google account.

Installing the Computer Application

Go to the Zoom Download Center and install the correct application for your computer and operating system.

Installing the App on a Mobile Device

Apple/iOS

Go to the App Store and download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app.

If and as needed, use the Getting Started with iOS resources from Zoom to help you get started.

Android

Go to the Google Play store and download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app.

If and as needed, use the Getting Started with Android resources from Zoom to help you get started.

Keeping Zoom Up-to-Date

For best results and access to the latest features and functionality, you will need to keep your Zoom client (computer application or mobile device app) up-to-date.
