Harmony Grove Monthly Meeting

Location: 1217 W. Main St., Yadkinville, Yadkin County, N.C.

Timeline: 1923: Trustees deeded meeting property to local trustees so they could borrow money to finish the meetinghouse. Yadkinville. 1963: Deed/title transferred to trustees of MM. 1970: deed to a tract of land transferred “back” to the MM. (PA)

High Falls Monthly Meeting

Location: 1159 NC Hwy. 22, High Falls, Moore County, N.C.

Timeline: 1905: Deed of about one acre in Ritters Township to Trustees of NCYM, dated 10-11-1905, Moore Co., Book 33, p. 281 (PA, D). 1905: a lot and donation given toward erection of a meetinghouse. 1957: Deed transferred to MM to secure a loan; to be returned to NCYM when loan paid (PA).

Timeline: PM 1790 under Cane Creek MM; MM 1818 (Weeks, Hinshaw). 1813: Deed of gift for 50 acres to trustees of Holly Spring preparative meeting for Quakers, dated 7-15-1813, Randolph Co., Book 12, p. 292 (PA).

Hopewell Monthly Meeting (Lower Reedy Fork, Hopewell Wesleyan Church) – Guilford County, New Garden Quarterly Meeting

Location: 2825 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Summerfield, NC 27358.

Timeline: Lower Reedy Fork; renamed Hopewell 1793 under New Garden MM. MM 1824. Laid down 1849, with members transferred to New Garden MM (Hinshaw, Weeks). Deed for two acres, Guilford Co., Book M, p. 22. 1837: deed reported “mislaid.” 1858-1859: Meetinghouse decaying. Approved selling house and land except graveyard. House and land sold. (PA)
